In September 2018, season three of <em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em> will feature the region\u2019s top YouTube content creators.<\/p>\n<p>Under the partnership, the content will be produced in part at the YouTube Space Dubai, which is set to open early next year.\u00a0<em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em>\u00a0creators will produce additional episodes that will be available exclusively on YouTube. Omar Hussein\u00a0is one of Creators for Change\u2019s 11 global ambassadors and is joined by Arab creators Maha Abdelghaffar,\u00a0Shog Al Meskary and\u00a0Ezaldeen Aref<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>as Creators for Change fellows. With the return of popular characters such as Elmo, No\u2019man, Gargur and Shams, the latest Muppet to join the\u00a0<em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em>\u00a0cast from the GCC and MENA region, the third season will focus on three themes:\u00a0respect\u00a0for one\u2019s self and each other,\u00a0resilience\u00a0through being strong and adaptable, and\u00a0relationships. These themes are designed to encourage children\u2019s social-emotional development by teaching them about self-esteem, embracing their identity, as well as being positive, proactive members of society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe in the power of starting early and starting right,\u201d said Dr. Cairo Arafat, the managing director of Bidaya Media, which produces\u00a0<em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em>.\u00a0\u201cChanging the world for the better is something every one of us can do, and helping young children learn these positive behaviors and practice them in their relationships with siblings, neighbors, classmates and friends lays the foundation for more tolerant and accepting societies.\u00a0We\u2019re proud to include our\u00a0<em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em>\u00a0Muppets\u2014Shams, No\u2019man, Melsoon, Elmo, Gargur, Kaaki and Habib\u2014in Creators for Change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tarek Abdalla, head of Google marketing for the Middle East and North Africa, added, \u201cThrough our YouTube Creators for Change program, we will continue to support voices promoting tolerance and empathy.\u00a0<em>Iftah Ya Simsim<\/em>\u00a0has championed these values for decades through their iconic characters who tell stories and enjoy massive popularity among their young audience in the Arab world.
