{"id":13537,"date":"2017-12-04T10:15:35","date_gmt":"2017-12-04T15:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/actf-approves-new-projects-development-funding\/"},"modified":"2017-12-04T15:33:31","modified_gmt":"2017-12-04T20:33:31","slug":"actf-approves-new-projects-for-development-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/actf-approves-new-projects-for-development-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"ACTF Approves New Projects for Development Funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At a recent Australian Children&#8217;s Television Foundation (ACTF) board meeting, a variety of projects from all around the country were given the go-ahead for script development funding.<\/p>\n<p>Among the successful applicants were\u00a0Ned Lander Media (NSW), which received A$35,000 to develop the second season of <em>Little J &amp; Big Cuz<\/em>;\u00a0Pirate Size Productions (Victoria), given A$22,737.80 for the animated show <em>Captain Jimmy Cook Discovers Third Grade<\/em>; and\u00a0Pop Family Entertainment (NSW), which received A$25,653 for <em>WeirDo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The other projects being funded are Brindle Films (Northern Territory), with A$22,000 for the live-action series <em>Maverix<\/em>; Komixx (Western Australia), with A$10,698 for the live-action show <em>B-Track Girl<\/em>; Lah-Lah Productions (NSW), with A$15,100 for the preschool program <em>The Stripy Sock Club<\/em>; SLR Productions (NSW), with A$29,337.65 for the animated series <em>Space Nova 1<\/em>; Northern Pictures (NSW), with A$24,325 for the live-action comedy <em>Hardball<\/em>; and The Content Agency (NSW), with A$5,000 for the series<em> Independence<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these titles\u2014which will be developed over the next year\u2014the board committed distribution investment to three projects that will be revealed in 2018 alongside the broadcasters and screen agencies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At a recent Australian Children&#8217;s Television Foundation (ACTF) board meeting, a variety of projects from all around the country were given the go-ahead for script development funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":479,"featured_media":13538,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[412,411],"class_list":["post-13537","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-actf","tag-australian-childrens-television-foundation","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
