Prince William, Duke of Cambridge is slated to give a keynote address on kids’ mental health at the BBC-curated Children’s Global Media Summit, taking place next week in Manchester.<\/p>\n
The session, presented by BBC Radio’s Greg James, will explore how unlimited freedom in the digital world could affect a child’s mental health and wellbeing. It will also look at what the industry should do to address problems that youngsters face online.\u00a0The Duke will speak to delegates from more than 30 countries on December 6.<\/p>\n
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) will also attend the event for a private round table hosted by Sesame Workshop spotlighting research into children and kindness. The royal couple will also talk to local students during the “Stepping Out” focus group session with BBC Children’s.<\/p>\n
Alice Webb, the director of BBC Children\u2019s, who will chair the Summit, said: \u201cWe\u2019re honored to be joined by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Summit as we commit to making the digital world a better place for future generations.<\/p>\n
