{"id":13504,"date":"2017-11-28T08:00:18","date_gmt":"2017-11-28T13:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/xilam-scores-asian-deals\/"},"modified":"2017-11-28T13:39:21","modified_gmt":"2017-11-28T18:39:21","slug":"xilam-scores-asian-deals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/xilam-scores-asian-deals\/","title":{"rendered":"Xilam Scores Asian Deals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xilam Animation has sealed a number of deals across Asia, including a presale of the brand-new <em>Mr Magoo<\/em> to Cartoon Network Asia, which also took additional seasons of\u00a0<em>Oggy and the Cockroaches<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mr Magoo<\/em>, a 78&#215;7-minute series, will roll out in 2018 on Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the South Asian subcontinent, including India.\u00a0In addition, Cartoon Network Asia licensed seasons six and seven of <em>Oggy and the Cockroaches<\/em>, also for rollout in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese distributor Jetsen Huashi Wangju Kids picked up the digital rights to season one of <em>Zig and Sharko<\/em> for release across<em>\u00a0<\/em>VOD platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Marc du Pontavice, the\u00a0founder and president of Xilam Animation, said, \u201cAsia is an important region for us and we are thrilled to be expanding the presence of our programming there in 2018.
