Yakka Dee!<\/em>, a new show from the creative team behind Numtums<\/em>, has debuted on CBeebies.<\/p>\n

The 20×5-minute series features live action and animation and made its debut on CBeebies this morning. Each episode explores one word and sees real kids attempt to say the word. Yakka Dee!<\/em> also offers pictorial representations of the word using imagery and situations that are familiar to children to encourage them to say the word for the first time.<\/p>\n

Yakka Dee!<\/em> comes from producer\/director Lotte Elwell and producer\/writer Katie Simmons, with Beakus Managing Director Steve Smith at the helm. Beakus is seeking distribution and licensing partners. The studio is also behind Olobob Top<\/em>, which has been airing on CBeebies since July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
