{"id":12949,"date":"2017-09-14T10:36:22","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T14:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/41-entertainment-gears-mipcom-skylanders-academy\/"},"modified":"2017-09-14T11:25:03","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T15:25:03","slug":"41-entertainment-gears-up-for-mipcom-with-skylanders-academy-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/41-entertainment-gears-up-for-mipcom-with-skylanders-academy-more\/","title":{"rendered":"41E Gears Up for MIPCOM with Skylanders Academy &#038; More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>41 Entertainment (41E) is heading to Cannes with a lineup of animated series, including Activision Blizzard Studios\u2019 <em>Skylanders Academy<\/em>, for which the company has been named exclusive global sales agent for linear television, EST and home-entertainment distribution.<\/p>\n<p><em>Skylanders Academy<\/em> is inspired by the popular video game and features the voices of Justin Long, Ashley Tisdale and Susan Sarandon, among others. 41 Entertainment is also presenting two all-new original shows, <em>Shooting Star<\/em> and <em>The Mini Musketeers<\/em>, which will be produced by 41 Studios. <em>Shooting Star<\/em> is created by Avi Arad and written by Eric Rogers and Josh Haber. It tells the story of a 13-year-old who becomes a superhero. <em>The Mini Musketeers<\/em>, meanwhile, follows the adventures of 6-year-olds D\u2019Artanya, Athos, Aramis and Portia before they become the most famous heroes in France.<\/p>\n<p>Additional titles on 41 Entertainment\u2019s MIPCOM slate include the first season of <em>Super Monsters<\/em>, about six preschoolers who are humans by day and monsters by night; seasons one and two of <em>Kong: King of the Apes<\/em>, in which Kong finds himself in a preserved prehistoric underworld; the first two seasons of <em>Tarzan and Jane<\/em>; and two seasons of <em>PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The 41E team is very happy to be named the <em>Skylanders Academy<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>exclusive<em>\u00a0<\/em>global<em>\u00a0<\/em>sales agent,\u201d said Allen Bohbot, the managing director of 41E. \u201cThe proven success in the marketplace of this amazing property makes this a very exciting partnership and we look forward to representing the brand at the international markets.
