TeamTO and Nexus Factory are developing\u00a0School of Magic<\/em>, a new animated series based on STUDIOCANAL’s hit movie House of Magic<\/em>.<\/p>\n

School of Magic<\/em> is an official selection at this year’s Cartoon Forum, where TeamTO and Nexus will present the bible, trailer and an animatic of the first episode, which is directed by Christian de Vita (PJ Masks<\/em>, Angelo Rules<\/em>). The\u00a052×11-minute show centers on a group of talented children who are attending a special magic camp to pursue their shared dream of becoming magicians.<\/p>\n

De Vita commented: \u201cFor me,\u00a0School of Magic<\/em> is a way to rediscover the childhood memory, excitement and wonder of illusionism. I was a fan of illusionism as a child, especially the Victorian period. The great challenge is to make this relevant to a contemporary audience.\u00a0The setting and characters are so rich, each with their own distinct image, personality and style of magic, which offers a deep source for great storytelling and a true magical experience\u2014the inner workings and mysteries of a true school of illusionism.\u201d<\/p>\n

Corinne Kouper, producer and head of development at TeamTO, said: \u201cCartoon Forum is the ideal place to present projects that we have been working on during the entire year. The development of School of Magic<\/em> has plunged us into a wonderful world of magic and illusion.\u201d<\/p>\n
