DHX Media has appointed Jerry Diaz, a former sales exec at Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises, as VP of distribution.<\/p>\n

In his new position, Diaz will oversee the global sales and distribution business at DHX Media. He will work out of Toronto under Josh Scherba, the company’s executive VP of content and distribution. Diaz previously served as VP of worldwide sales and distribution at Nelvana, where he also sold directly into Canada, the U.S., Spain, Portugal, the U.K. and South America.<\/p>\n

Earlier in his career, Diaz managed his own distribution company, repping such producers as TV-Loonland (TVL), Evergreen Entertainment and Scholastic Entertainment in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Before that, he worked for TVL, Heart Entertainment and the ABC Distribution Company.<\/p>\n
