Nickelodeon has slated the new live-action show\u00a0I Am Frankie\u00a0<\/em>to premiere later this month, with a sneak peek set for tonight at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Debuting on Monday, September 11, at 7:30 p.m., I Am Frankie<\/em> tells the story of Frankie Gaines (Alex Hook), who looks like any other human girl but functions as a high-tech computer, complete with internet access, extensive memory and more. After escaping from EGG Labs to avoid being used for evil purposes, Frankie enrolls in high school and tries to pass herself off as a typical teenager.<\/p>\n

I Am Frankie<\/em> was originally produced as Yo Soy Franky<\/em> by Nickelodeon Latin America in Colombia. The series was created by Argentine writer Marcela Citterio. The English-language version is produced by Paradiso Pictures and Nickelodeon Latin America. I Am Frankie<\/em> was filmed in the new state-of-the-art Viacom International Studios in Miami, Florida. The series will be distributed to Nickelodeon’s global audiences spanning 170-plus countries and territories via the brand’s more than 80 channels and branded blocks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
