Imira Entertainment has secured distribution deals for kids’ and family content across the globe with partners such as Netflix and Disney.<\/p>\n
Imira closed a multi-title deal with Netflix for Vroomiz<\/em>, MiniForce<\/em>, Power Battle Watch-Car<\/em>, Lucky Fred<\/em>, Lola & Virginia<\/em> and Sandra, the Fairytale Detective<\/em>. Disney, meanwhile, took all four seasons of the non-dialogue, slapstick comedy Larva<\/em> for Latin America and the Caribbean basin. In addition, Turner acquired Badanamu<\/em> and Vroomiz<\/em> for Italy, while Nickelodeon is expanding its previous multi-territory acquisition of Larva<\/em>, adding more seasons for Spain, Portugal and Portuguese-speaking Africa.<\/p>\n In addition, Spain\u2019s Clan TV signed on for the preschool show YoYo<\/em>, and South Africa\u2019s Showmax picked up Jamillah & Aladdin<\/em> for the African continent. Canal 11 in Mexico went for Zack & Quack<\/em> and YooHoo & Friends<\/em>. Portugal\u2019s SIC, meanwhile, secured The Smurfs<\/em> for its SIC K channel for Portugal and parts of Portuguese-speaking Africa, as well as for its SIC International channels on a multi-territory basis. Imira also sold a 14-title package to Czech Republic and Slovakia\u2019s free-TV channel Tuty Broadcasting and closed a ten-title deal with Buongiorno for its KidsInMind app. In the Middle East, Kids Network picked up Sandra, the Fairytale Detective<\/em>.<\/p>\n Imira is heading to Annecy with new content, including the comedy adventure Smighties<\/em>, following a group of small but mighty heroes who live in a fantastical world.
