Wow Unlimited Media and Bell Media have entered into a strategic partnership regarding kids’ and youth entertainment.<\/p>\n

As part of the pact, Wow is proposing to acquire a Category B specialty service from Bell Media, in exchange for Wow equity. Concurrently, the\u00a0two companies have forged an ongoing strategic partnership to jointly develop and produce content for future programming.<\/p>\n

In addition, Bell Media will have the right to nominate one member to Wow’s board of directors at each annual meeting, as well as a pre-emptive right to participate in any future offerings of Wow’s securities on a pro-rata basis.<\/p>\n

Michael Hirsh, the chairman and CEO of Wow, said: \u201cThis strategic partnership will drive our planned multiplatform rollout of a new paradigm in entertainment for kids and youth across North America. In addition, the support and collaborative efforts of Canada\u2019s leading media and telecommunication company will provide strong momentum to Wow\u2019s global expansion plans.\u201d<\/p>\n
