Indian content distribution platform Tata Sky has launched Tata Sky Kids Cinema, an ad-free service offering a selection of children’s films curated by\u00a0Monica Wahi,\u00a0founder-director of South Asian Children\u2019s Cinema Forum.<\/p>\n
Tata Sky Kids Cinema, which is free for all Tata Sky subscribers, provides a variety of Indian and international movies, including animated and live-action features and short films, most of which have never been released in India.\u00a0More than 150 award-winning movies will be\u00a0available all year in such languages as Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, English, Japanese, French, German and Russian, among many others.\u00a0Titles include Ponyo<\/em>, My Neighbor Totoro<\/em>, Kiki\u2019s Delivery Service<\/em>, Secret of Kells<\/em>, The Grufallo<\/em> and the recently released adaptation of Roald Dahl\u2019s Revolting Rhymes<\/em>.<\/p>\n Tata Sky Kids Cinema\u00a0is\u00a0available 24\/7 and can be watched across multiple platforms, including SD, HD+, Tata Sky On-Demand and the Tata Sky Mobile App. New films will be added to the service on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n Arun Unni, the chief content officer at Tata Sky, said: \u201cGood children\u2019s cinema often transcends language and age.
