LONDON: CAKE and Aussie producer Studio Moshi have teamed up to launch\u00a0Gingerbread Animation, an\u00a0independent and creator-driven animation house based in Dublin, Ireland.<\/p>\n
Gingerbread will create high-quality kids’ animation content, producing and developing its own original projects and offering tailored creative and production services to third parties. The studio, which\u00a0is\u00a0specializing in 2D, will offer in-house script-to-screen services, including scriptwriting, design, storyboarding, editing, hand-crafted TV series and feature-length animation and compositing. It is currently sourcing local Irish talent for new productions that will be globally distributed by CAKE.<\/p>\n
Tom van Waveren, the CEO and creative director of CAKE, said: \u201cWe are excited to combine Studio Moshi\u2019s production expertise with our joint creative networks and experience to create an entity that will be able to manage its own slate as well as being an attractive partner to third parties.
