The original version of the iconic preschool show first aired in Germany in 1999. The new version of <em>Teletubbies<\/em>\u00a0also follows Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. It offers a refreshed and contemporary look and feel. The show has been picked up by 24 broadcasters worldwide, including Nickelodeon in the U.S., Family Jr. in Canada and Amazon Prime Video in the U.K., where the commissioning broadcaster is CBeebies.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Scherba, the executive VP of distribution and content at DHX Media, said, \u201cKids are now enjoying the new <em>Teletubbies<\/em> show in more than 24 territories around the world. As we continue this global rollout, Germany is a key market, so we are thrilled that the region\u2019s top kids\u2019 channel, KiKA, has picked up the new series.
