NEW YORK: A number of new licensing agreements have been\u00a0signed for the popular Nickelodeon preschool properties PAW Patrol<\/em>, Shimmer and Shine<\/em> and Blaze and the Monster Machines<\/em>.<\/p>\n This year will see an expanded\u00a0Shimmer and Shine<\/em> toy line from Fisher-Price, a new collection\u00a0of Teenie Genies and\u00a0the release of PAW Patrol<\/em> as TY’s first-ever licensed Beanie Boos, among other L&M launches. Nickelodeon has\u00a0also\u00a0partnered with\u00a0Fisher-Price for Think & Learn Smart Cycle apps; Fashion Angels for arts and crafts items, with\u00a0new offerings from Colorforms Brand, Crayola, Tara Toys, Cra-z-art, Alex Brands and Montco; Mega Bloks for Shimmer and Shine<\/em>\u00a0products in the construction category; and Rubie’s Costume Company and Spirit Halloween for additional costume characters.<\/p>\n For games and puzzles, there will be an expanded selection\u00a0from Cardinal and University Games. Other licensees include Kid Kraft and Step 2 for furniture; TY for plush; Edda Books USA, Quarto Publishing Group and Topix Media Lab\u00a0in the\u00a0publishing category; Moose Mountain for ride-ons (foot to floor); Moose Mountain and Pacific Cycle for\u00a0sports and outdoor merchandise; American Greetings for social expression; Sakar for\u00a0tech; and Fisher-Price for\u00a0toys.<\/p>\n “Nickelodeon finished 2016 with the strongest slate of preschool programming we have ever seen and the popularity of our properties has helped drive incredible growth for our consumer-products business,” said Pam Kaufman, the chief marketing officer and president of consumer products at Nickelodeon. “We’ve seen amazing success with PAW Patrol<\/em>, our number-one licensed preschool property and a top-ten licensed toy property for 2016.
