TORONTO: Portfolio Entertainment is gearing up to produce a third season of the Dr. Seuss-inspired PBS Kids preschool series The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!<\/em> will return for 20 episodes on PBS stations in the U.S. and Treehouse in Canada. The half-hour episodes will be produced and animated in-house at Portfolio Entertainment\u2019s animation studio.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!<\/em> is a series with endless opportunities for innovative storytelling and continues to be embraced by audiences around the globe,\u201d said Lisa Olfman, CEO and co-founder of Portfolio Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\u201cPBS Kids is excited to build on the success of The Cat in The Hat Knows A Lot About That!<\/em>, which supports our mission to use the power of media to spark children\u2019s curiosity and excitement about learning,\u201d said Linda Simensky, the VP of children\u2019s programming at PBS. \u201cWe look forward to continuing to work with Portfolio Entertainment on another outstanding season of this iconic series, bringing new natural science adventures to families.\u201d<\/p>\n
