The Disney Television Animation production features Aimee Carrero as the voice of the titular teen\u00a0who rules her kingdom as crown princess. The show&#8217;s second season is due to debut\u00a0on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>After its premiere in July 2016, <em>Elena of Avalor<\/em> became TV&#8217;s number one series for girls aged\u00a02 to 11 in the U.S. It also ranks as the number one show in its time slot among young viewers in the U.K., Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy Kanter, the executive VP of content and creative strategy at Disney Channels Worldwide, and general manager of Disney Junior Worldwide, said: &#8220;With this new season order, the creative team, led by Craig Gerber and [co-producer and story editor] Silvia Olivas, has some exciting surprises in store for Elena on her journey to becoming queen.
