LONDON\/MIAMI: Turner International has partnered with Cyber Group Studios to create a brand-new animated series, currently titled Taffy<\/em>,\u00a0that is slated for broadcast on Boomerang.<\/p>\n

Taffy<\/em> is based on an original creation from Cyber Group Studios and developed with Turner. The 78×7-minute show follows the slapstick adventures of a hound dog whose billionaire owner takes in an imposter posing as an angora cat. It is being\u00a0produced in France and will\u00a0begin rolling out on\u00a0Boomerang in a number of international markets in Q4 2018.<\/p>\n

Cecilia Persson, Turner\u2019s VP of programming and content strategy for kids in EMEA and international kids’ acquisitions and co-productions, said: \u201cWith its classic-look animation style and timeless, slapstick humor, Taffy<\/em> couldn\u2019t be a more perfect fit for Boomerang. We\u2019re very excited to be working with Cyber Group Studios to produce the show, and further our efforts to build Boomerang as a second flagship kids’ channel with a strong and refreshing pipeline of content.\u201d<\/p>\n
