Also on board are\u00a0Pyramid International with posters and stationery, Dreamtex with a bedding collection and Whitehouse Leisure will plush items. Products will begin rolling out at retail in spring\/summer 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Rocket Licensing oversees\u00a0the U.K. and Eire licensing program for <em>The Emoji Movie<\/em> on behalf of Sony Pictures Consumer Products. The animated film is slated for release in August 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie Donaldson, joint managing director at Rocket Licensing, said: \u201cSony Pictures Animation\u2019s upcoming release <em>The Emoji Movie<\/em> presents a compelling licensing opportunity for U.K. licensees and retailers keen to capitalize on the emoji phenomenon that has been embraced by younger generations. Consumers have an instant emotional connection to the icons and the movie offers a narrative depth and humor that will bring them to life.
