LONDON: Octonauts<\/em> producer Silvergate Media has hired\u00a0Jeff Farnath, a feature film and animation industry veteran, as the company’s new chief financial officer.<\/p>\n

Farnath most recently served as CFO for Thrillist Media Group, a digital lifestyle brand targeted\u00a0at male millennials. Earlier in his career, he held the same title at Walt Disney Studios Latin America, Classic Media and\u00a0Laika Entertainment (formerly Vinton Studios), where he was also CEO.<\/p>\n

Waheed Alli, the CEO of Silvergate Media, commented: \u201cI am delighted that someone of Jeff\u2019s caliber is joining us. His eminent experience in film and television production, international distribution, licensing, digital publishing and e-commerce will be invaluable.<\/p>\n
