Consumer Products (WBCP) is launching a multi-category licensing and merchandising program for <em>The LEGO Batman Movie<\/em> that includes apparel, accessories, costumes, toys, publishing, stationery, home d\u00e9cor, party goods and more.<\/p>\n<p><em>The LEGO Batman Movie<\/em>-inspired L&amp;M program is led by the partnership between WBCP and The LEGO Group, which will see the launch of more than ten original construction sets, including a new mini-figure set featuring 20 exclusive mini-figures of characters from the film. It also includes The LEGO Batman Movie: The Batmobile set and The LEGO Batman Movie: Batcave Break-In set.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, WBCP has partnered with fashion labels such as Bioworld, Isaac Morris, Evy, SGI, Handcraft and Fast Forward. The resulting fashion collections will be geared toward boys and girls and will include T-shirts, sportswear, swimwear, sleepwear, underwear and backpacks. A range of products has also been created for consumers of all ages by key licensees, including Disguise, with LEGO Batman and LEGO Batgirl costumes; Hallmark, with greeting cards, gift presentation and Keepsakes 2017 ornaments; Party City\/Amscan\u2019s, with party goods; Clic Time, with kid-friendly watches and clocks; Sakar, with electronics and accessories; Trends International, with posters and calendars; and Franco Mfg, with a new line of home d\u00e9cor that features bedding, throws and beach towels, among others.<\/p>\n<p>WBCP\u2019s global publishing program is supported by four tie-in publishers, including DK Publishing, Scholastic, Ameet and Blue Ocean. With more than 21 books, the movie tie-in program covers storybooks, readers, activity books, sticker books, magazines, junior novel, guide books and <em>The Making of The LEGO Batman Movie<\/em> behind-the-scenes film guide, the first-ever making-of book for the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout EMEA, products are beginning to roll out, with many retailers offering programs featuring a selection of items across all locations. In EMEA, key fashion and home partners include TV Mania and Character World, as well as Sambro and Pyramid. In the U.K., ASDA will offer products and in-store activations and branded-activity pages in its magazine. Other U.K. partners are Argos, Sainsburys and Tesco. Carrefour will also be supporting the film across all European territories. In the Asia-Pacific Australia\/New Zealand region, Caprice is among the brand\u2019s licensing partners.<\/p>\n<p>Products and programs inspired by the film will begin to roll out throughout January and be available at retailers around the world and online. <em>The LEGO Batman Movie<\/em> hits theaters across the globe beginning February 10.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re excited to bring the immersive world of <em>The LEGO Batman Movie<\/em> to all fans around the world with our best-in-class partners, products and \u2018retailtainment\u2019 programs,\u201d said Pam Lifford, the president of Warner Bros.
