Factory and Toei Animation have signed a new multi-picture agreement to bring the\u00a0hit action\/adventure anime film series <em>Digimon Adventure tri<\/em> to the home-entertainment marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>The multi-year\u00a0pact gives Shout! Factory the exclusive North American broadcast and home-entertainment distribution rights for the first three feature-length,\u00a0English-language\u00a0movies from the <em>Digimon Adventure tri<\/em> film series, including DVD, Blu-ray\u2014which will also include the original Japanese audio with English subtitles\u2014and EST digital rights. Shout! Factory is planning a strategic home-entertainment rollout of the new films, starting with the first title, <em>Digimon Adventure tri\u2014Reunion<\/em>, this year.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Boag, the senior VP of kids&#8217; and family entertainment at Shout! Factory, commented: &#8220;We\u2019re incredibly excited about this opportunity with Toei Animation. <em>Digimon<\/em> continues to stand as an enduring global pop-culture phenomenon.
