LONDON: DHX Media-owned WildBrain, an online children’s\u00a0network, has entered into an agreement with Turner International to manage a selection of Turner Kids\u2019 YouTube channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America.<\/p>\n
The deal will see WildBrain create and manage channels and provide content production services, as well as audience development and social-networking expertise. WildBrain will work to extend the international exposure of key Turner brands. New local-language channels have already rolled out for The Powerpuff Girls<\/em> and Adventure Time<\/em> in the U.K., Russia, Poland, Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin America, with additional languages to follow soon.<\/p>\n The Amazing World of Gumball<\/em> and Ben 10<\/em> will also be included, along with a selection of other Cartoon Network shows. The deal follows a successful collaboration between Turner EMEA and WildBrain for LazyTown<\/em>, which saw the launch of a number of local channels over the last year. WildBrain is experienced in connecting content owners to advertisers through advertising video-on-demand (AVOD) platforms.<\/p>\n Patricia Hidalgo, the chief creative officer for Turner Kids International, said, \u201cBuilding a strong branded presence on YouTube for our major kids\u2019 brands is a key part of our strategy of putting our audience at the center of everything we do.
