SALFORD: Anna Davies has been elevated to head of drama development at CBBC Production, which has also appointed Tiger Aspect alum Tim Searle to oversee animated comedy.<\/p>\n
Davies has been working for CBBC Production’s in-house team since 2012 as senior development producer. She has served as creative lead across a variety of scripted development, including the upcoming television adaptation\u00a0of Jill Murphy’s The Worst Witch<\/em> books. Earlier in her career, she was a\u00a0scripted development exec at Lime Pictures and also worked for ITV Productions.<\/p>\n Helen Bullough, head of CBBC Production, commented: \u201cAnna nurtures great relationships with writers, has a huge bucketful of experience and is thoughtful, clever and funny, so we\u2019re delighted with this appointment.\u201d<\/p>\n Searle will lead CBBC Production’s animated comedy slate, including the hit series Danger Mouse<\/em>.
