{"id":11429,"date":"2016-12-08T10:59:35","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T15:59:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/the-ollie-moon-show-lands-in-the-middle-east-beyond\/"},"modified":"2016-12-08T11:01:42","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T16:01:42","slug":"the-ollie-moon-show-lands-in-the-middle-east-beyond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/the-ollie-moon-show-lands-in-the-middle-east-beyond\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ollie &#038; Moon Show Lands in the Middle East &#038; Beyond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PARIS: Federation Kids &amp; Family and sister company Cottonwood Media have secured a host of presales for the animated preschool series <em>The Ollie &amp; Moon Show<\/em>, with the new deals set to bring\u00a0the show to 150-plus countries.<\/p>\n<p>The 52&#215;11-minute series was picked up by D-Kids (the Middle East), IETV (Israel), VRT (Belgium) and Knowledge Network (Canada). <em>The Ollie &amp; Moon Show<\/em> is slated to debut on kids\u2019 broadcasters worldwide in 2017, including France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions (France), Sprout (the U.S.), Discovery Kids (Latin America), TVO (Canada) and premium global SVOD platforms, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The series, which is produced by Cottonwood Media and distributed by Federation Kids &amp; Family, uses a mix of animation and live action to tell the story of two globetrotting cats who teach kids about new food, cities, customs, friendship, global citizenship and more. <em>The Ollie &amp; Moon Show<\/em> is based on the best-selling book series created by author and illustrator Diane Kredensor.<\/p>\n<p>David Michel, producer and co-founder of Federation Kids &amp; Family and Cottonwood Media, commented, \u201cWe are extremely proud to have achieved so many, and such significant, presales for a previously unknown TV property. Our ambition has been to create exclusively premium content; we hope that the scale of <em>Ollie &amp; Moon<\/em>\u2019s presales is an indication that we have accomplished this goal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Monica Levy, the senior VP of co-production and sales for Federation Kids &amp;\u00a0Family, who closed the deals, added, \u201cIt has been extraordinary to see such universal, cross-cultural interest in a series.
