BARCELONA: Planeta Junior has appointed Erick Rouill\u00e9, a former France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions Distribution and Xilam exec, as country manager for France and international TV sales director.<\/p>\n
In his new position, Rouill\u00e9 is charged with developing the business and Planeta Junior’s\u00a0strategy in the French market with such new series as Magiki<\/em> and Pio Rocks!<\/em> and representing Care Bears<\/em>, Mia and me<\/em>, Wissper<\/em> and Tip the Mouse<\/em>, among others. He will also oversee international TV sales for the company’s animated series.\u00a0He\u00a0will work under Diego Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez Belaustegui, Planeta Junior’s international commercial director.<\/p>\n Rouill\u00e9 has spent more than two decades in the animation and television sector, working in both consumer products and TV sales. He previously served as senior VP of sales at France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions Distribution. Before that, he was executive VP of sales, TV and licensing at Xilam.
