MADRID: Multichannel network 2btube is entering the kids\u2019 content space through the launch of 2bkids, which will be led by Juan Baixeras, formerly of Zinkia Entertainment.<\/p>\n
2bkids marks 2btube\u2019s first endeavor outside of the Spanish-speaking market. 2bkids will focus on bringing together independent creators and kids\u2019 content IP, as well as increasing brands\u2019 YouTube and digital presence. Juan Baixeras will serve as general manager of 2bkids, which will be supported by 2btube\u2019s team of 60 across its offices in Madrid, Miami and Mexico City. It already counts 30 channels with more than 80 million monthly views.<\/p>\n
\u201c2bkids is a new adventure for 2btube,\u201d said Bastian Manintveld, the executive chairman of 2btube. \u201cWhen we noticed that more than 15 percent of our audience of 500 million video views a month was coming from preschool content, we decided to step up our efforts and hire Juan to launch 2bkids.\u201d<\/p>\n
