MONTREAL: The France-Canada co-production Helen\u2019s Little School<\/em>, from Superprod and Muse Entertainment,\u00a0is being introduced\u00a0to international buyers at MIPCOM.<\/p>\n

The 52×11-minute animated preschool series is distributed internationally by Superights, while Muse Distribution International is handling distribution in Canada. Superprod (Lassie<\/em>, Pat the Dog<\/em>, Song of the Sea<\/em>) and Muse Entertainment (The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog<\/em>, Bounty Hunters<\/em>, Family Biz<\/em>) are producing the show for France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions in France and Knowledge Network, BBC Kids, T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec and TFO in Canada. It is currently in production in Paris and Montreal.<\/p>\n

Discovery Kids Latin America joined as a pre-buyer, and several deals are currently in discussion across\u00a0the globe. The series is about Helen, a 6-year-old who longs to be a teacher and plays school with\u00a0a class made up of her toys, who come to life. The show is created by Cl\u00e9ment Calvet (Lassie<\/em>) and Alexandre R\u00e9v\u00e9rend (Vic the Viking<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Superprod is handling production in its Paris offices and its newly founded animation studio in Angouleme. Digital Dimension provides animation services for the production from its offices in Montreal.<\/p>\n
