LONDON: BBC Worldwide is launching the brand-new preschool title Andy\u2019s Baby Animals<\/em>, along with additional\u00a0seasons of several returning kids’ shows, at MIPCOM.<\/p>\n

Andy\u2019s Baby Animals<\/em> is a co-production between CBeebies and BBC Worldwide. The 20×10-minute factual series, presented and narrated by Andy Day (Andy\u2019s Wild Adventures<\/em>, Andy\u2019s Dinosaur Adventures<\/em>, Andy\u2019s Prehistoric Adventures<\/em>), teaches kids about baby animals in the wild. Each episode draws from the BBC Natural History archive. The show is also available as a presenterless version under the title Amazing Baby Animals<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Henrietta Hurford-Jones, the director of children\u2019s at BBC Worldwide, said, \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be introducing Andy\u2019s Baby Animals<\/em> to international buyers and to be bringing brand-new series of our award-winning animation.\u201d<\/p>\n

BBC Worldwide is also presenting returning children\u2019s series such as Hey Duggee<\/em> (season two), Sarah and Duck<\/em> (season three) and The Next Step<\/em> (season four). The lineup also includes three brand-new specials of Horrible Histories<\/em> titled Sensational Shakespeare Special<\/em>, Staggering Storytellers Special<\/em> and The Grisly Great Fire of London Special<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In addition, Hurford-Jones will participate in the MIPJunior panel From Virtuality to Immersive Reality: When Narrative Meets Experience on October 16. The session will spotlight how digital technology has transformed children\u2019s content, examining smart integrations of virtual and immersive reality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
