{"id":10702,"date":"2016-09-06T11:13:17","date_gmt":"2016-09-06T15:13:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/new-u-k-licensees-on-board-dhxs-teletubbies\/"},"modified":"2016-09-06T13:24:15","modified_gmt":"2016-09-06T17:24:15","slug":"new-u-k-licensees-on-board-dhxs-teletubbies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/new-u-k-licensees-on-board-dhxs-teletubbies\/","title":{"rendered":"New U.K. Licensees On Board DHX&#8217;s Teletubbies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HALIFAX: In deals brokered by CPLG UK, DHX Media&#8217;s DHX Brands has secured ten new U.K. licensing partners for the reimagined hit preschool property <em>Teletubbies<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The new\u00a0licensees are Alligator with car travel accessories; Euroactive with cots, moses baskets, bouncers and toddler beds; Finsbury Foods with celebration cakes; Sambro International with arts, crafts and outdoor games; Solutions EU with baby kitchen accessories; Spearmark with lighting; Ultimate Products Global Sourcing with wet wipes, tissues and kitchen rolls; Vivid with Crayola Kids; Walltastic with wall stickers; and William Lamb with footwear.<\/p>\n<p>To date, more than 75 licensing agreements have been signed for the new <em>Teletubbies<\/em> around the globe. Existing U.K. partners\u00a0include Kokomo with health and beauty products; HTI with toys and novelty items; Bladez with inflatable toys; and Whitehouse for the amusement category, including plush toys.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Roe, the commercial director at DHX Brands, commented: \u201cWe are adding to an ever-growing and impressive lineup of licensees, which underscores the considerable appetite there is in the market for the new <em>Teletubbies<\/em>.
