The show is set in an \u201calmost\u201d world-class hotel run by Funella Furchester, her husband Furgus Fuzz and their daughter Phoebe Furchester-Fuzz. The show premieres on Sprout, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment\u2019s 24-hour preschool network, on September 26.<\/p>\n<p>The premiere week will feature appearances by Elmo and Cookie Monster on Sprout\u2019s live morning show for preschoolers, <em>Sunny Side Up<\/em>. <em>The Furchester Hotel<\/em> will air weekdays at 9 a.m. and weekends at 11 a.m. starting September 26. Beginning the week of October 10, its weekend time slot will shift to 7 a.m. <em>The Furchester Hotel<\/em> is a co-production from Sesame Workshop and the BBC\u2019s preschool channel CBeebies.<\/p>\n<p>Sprout\u2019s Back to New initiative will feature\u00a0a new episode premiere every day for the month of September. It kicks off with new episodes of <em>Maya the Bee<\/em>, <em>Jungle Bunch<\/em> and <em>Floogals<\/em> on September 1 at 3 p.m. There will be a marathon of featured programs each Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeptember is filled with new beginnings and fresh starts, which is why Sprout is jumping into fall with Back to New,\u201d said Amy Friedman, the senior VP of programming and development at Sprout. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a wildly fun month as we join Elmo and Cookie Monster at <em>The Furchester Hotel<\/em> and deliver new episodes of our fans\u2019 favorites every day.
