The Disney Television Animation production, which incorporates various Latin and Hispanic cultures, made its debut\u00a0late last month.\u00a0It is created and executive produced by Emmy winner Craig Gerber (<em>Sofia the First<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Nancy Kanter, the executive VP and general manager of Disney Junior Worldwide, commented: &#8220;It&#8217;s just a few weeks into the launch of <em>Elena of Avalor<\/em> and we are already seeing what an impact and connection she is making with kids and families.
