(IMC) to launch a Nickelodeon-branded block on IMC\u2019s free-to-air channel YouTV.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of September, more than 5 million Vietnamese households that access YouTV will be able to tune into four and a half hours of Nickelodeon content during the after-school hours on weekdays and the mornings on weekends. The multiyear deal includes animated titles such as <em>SpongeBob SquarePants<\/em>, <em>Dora the Explorer<\/em>, <em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/em>, <em>PAW Patrol<\/em> and select live-action series such as <em>The Thundermans<\/em> and <em>Haunted Hathaways<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNickelodeon blocks offer broadcasters a robust and varied entertainment solution for kids 4 to 14 years and we are delighted to partner with YouTV to bring our first Nickelodeon-branded block to Vietnam,\u201d said VIMN Asia Pacific\u2019s executive VP and managing director, Mark Whitehead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited that YouTV will be the first to exclusively carry a Nickelodeon block in Vietnam,\u201d said IMC\u2019s executive chairman, Lam Chi Thien. \u201cYouTV currently has a leading position in the Vietnamese market for families and this collaboration will provide significant added value for the kids\u2019 programming lineup for our viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SINGAPORE: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia is expanding its collaboration with Vietnamese multimedia communication group International Media Corp.
