Award-winning writer Dave Ingham (<em>Boj<\/em>, <em>Clangers<\/em>) has come on board the 52&#215;11-minute production, which will follow the adventures of a little girl who serves as a city spokesperson in Beijing. The series will combine Chinese heritage with British humor. It is due to debut in China in spring 2017, with international premieres to follow.<\/p>\n<p>Grace Tian, Magic Mall\u2019s general manager and co-creator of Luo Bao Bei, said: &#8220;I look forward to working with Cloth Cat Animation, a young studio bursting with brilliant talent and enthusiasm. When I went to visit them for the first time at the beginning of this year, I was greatly impressed with the various projects I saw. It was of paramount importance to find a creative and production partner who would work with us tirelessly to get everything right from day one in order to have Luo Bao Bei work in China and overseas. I can\u2019t wait to see our beloved character\u2019s brand-new show in early 2017.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jon Rennie, the managing director of Cloth Cat Animation, noted: &#8220;It\u2019s going to be a wonderful collaboration to bring our expertise to this Chinese creation.
