Animation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO: Executive producer and seasoned industry executive Heather Walker has purchased Yowza! Animation from founder Claude Chiasson.<\/p>\n<p>Brothers Claude and Roger Chiasson will continue to lead the team creatively, while Walker now entirely owns and manages the productions. Walker will maintain the heritage of the studio&#8217;s classic hand-drawn animation, along with continuing ToonBoom, Harmony and 3D projects. Yowza!, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year,\u00a0has a\u00a0new 8,000-square-foot facility located in downtown Toronto. The studio\u00a0is currently working on a series for Nickelodeon in the U.S., storyboards for Cartoon Network in the Middle East, and a number of 2D and 3D development tests and projects.<\/p>\n<p>Walker commented: \u201cMy vision for Yowza! Animation is to continue to expose the marketplace to our exceptional talent base through strong service and co-production partnerships.
