PARIS: Splash and Bubbles<\/em>, an ocean-themed animated series produced by The Jim Henson Company and Herschend Enterprises, has been chosen as this year’s MIPJunior World Premiere TV Screening.<\/p>\n

Aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds, Splash and Bubbles<\/em> tells the story of\u00a0a well-traveled fusilier fish who decides to settle down in Reeftown, where he befriends a colorful Mandarin dragonet. The 80×11-minute program is produced using the Emmy-winning Henson Digital Puppetry Studio\u00a0and features a marine biology curriculum that includes such themes as diversity, individuality and interconnectedness. It will debut on PBS Kids in the U.S. on November 23.<\/p>\n

The 2016 MIPJunior World Premiere TV Screening will be held on Saturday, October 15, in the late afternoon at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez in Cannes.<\/p>\n
