{"id":10287,"date":"2016-06-17T09:54:12","date_gmt":"2016-06-17T13:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/corus-extends-deal-with-cartoon-network-in-canada\/"},"modified":"2016-06-17T09:58:10","modified_gmt":"2016-06-17T13:58:10","slug":"corus-extends-deal-with-cartoon-network-in-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/corus-extends-deal-with-cartoon-network-in-canada\/","title":{"rendered":"Corus Extends Deal with Cartoon Network in Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO: Corus Entertainment has expanded its partnership with Turner\u2019s Cartoon Network in Canada in a new multiyear broadcast and merchandise agreement.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Cartoon Network extending its channel deal with Corus Entertainment, Corus\u2019s Nelvana has become the exclusive merchandising agent for the network\u2019s hit brands, including <em>The Powerpuff Girls<\/em>, <em>Adventure Time<\/em>, <em>Steven Universe<\/em> and <em>Ben 10<\/em>. Nelvana will develop a variety of licensed products for the properties spanning secondary and seasonal toys, softlines, food and beverage, sporting goods and consumer electronics.
