The preschool program has been broadcast in more than 120 territories around the globe and in 45 different languages. The new <em>Teletubbies<\/em> series, which has a visually enhanced updated look, premiered on Nick Jr. in the U.S. yesterday, on DHX&#8217;s Family Jr. in Canada in January, and on CBeebies in the U.K. in November 2015. The show features such new elements as Touch Screen tummy TVs and a hi-tech Tubby Phone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Teletubbies<\/em> is one of the most popular and iconic brands for young children and families around the world,\u201d said Ben Means, the senior VP of third-party strategic partnerships at SPHE. \u201cWe are very pleased to be working with DHX Media to help introduce <em>Teletubbies<\/em> to new generations of fans everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe global appetite for <em>Teletubbies<\/em> content has proven to be unwavering, with strong demand for both the new series and the classic show,\u201d added Tom Roe, the commercial director of DHX Brands. \u201cGiven their reach and standing, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is the ideal international home-entertainment partner for this brand.
