DUBLIN: Brown Bag Films has opened its new 30,000-square-foot animation studio in Smithfield, Dublin, as it plans to expand its team to 255 creative and production staff by 2018.<\/p>\n
A subsidiary of 9 Story Media Group, Brown Bag Films currently employs 184 staff members in its headquarters in Dublin, a studio in Manchester and an office in Los Angeles. The outfit is known for producing such hit animated children\u2019s series as Octonauts<\/em>, Doc McStuffins<\/em>, Bing<\/em> and Henry Hugglemonster<\/em>. Brown Bag is currently producing the CG adaptation of Richard Adams\u2019 Watership Down<\/em> for Netflix and BBC.<\/p>\n Ireland’s Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O\u2019Connor, commented: “I am delighted to be here in Smithfield at the opening of Brown Bag Films\u2019 new flagship studio.
