WildBrain’s Eric Ellenbogen, Super RTL’s Claude Schmit Set for TV Kids Festival

Eric Ellenbogen, the CEO and vice chair of WildBrain, and Claude Schmit, the CEO of Super RTL, are set to deliver keynote addresses at the inaugural TV Kids Festival.

Ellenbogen has spent more than 30 years running entertainment businesses, including holding senior management roles at Broadway Video Entertainment and Marvel Enterprises. With the backing of private equity, he co-founded Classic Media in 2000, which became one of the largest private owners of branded kids’ and family entertainment and was acquired by DreamWorks Animation in 2012. He joined WildBrain (then DHX Media) as CEO in 2019.

Schmit has been with Super RTL since 1995 and has served as CEO since 2000. For two decades now, he has been navigating the market-leading platform through a rapidly changing media ecosystem.

Taking place from February 2 to 4, 2021, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the importance of alliances in producing and distributing top-notch kids’ programming today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on World Screen’s brand-new, state-of-the-art events and festivals platform.
