Ireland's Smyths Toys Superstores has entered into a definitive deal to acquire Toys"R"Us's operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for an estimated aggregate purchase price of €79 million ($96.6 million).

Toys"R"Us, which recently entered administration in the U.K., is conducting an orderly wind-down of its U.S. business and liquidation of inventory in all 735 stores in the country, including Puerto Rico.

Simon Thomas and Arron Kendall, partners in Moorfields Advisory, have become joint administrators to Toys"R"Us in the U.K.
