Zephyr Animation, the production arm of APC Kids, has secured the first presales for the animated adventure comedy Lana Longbeard, co-produced with Copernicus Studios.

Speaking at the TV Kids Summer Festival today, Thorsten Braun, CEO of Super RTL, discussed how the group is maintaining its lead in Germany’s competitive children’s media landscape by evolving from a linear business to a multiplatform one.

Thorsten Braun is replacing Lars Wagner as VP and general manager for Disney Channel in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA).
