Spotlight’s New Season Set for Nick in GAS Region

Nickelodeon Northern Europe has revealed that the second installment of the locally produced scripted series Spotlight is due to debut in Germany, Austria and Switzerland next month.

Spotlight centers on a group of talented teens studying at the Berlin School of Arts. The live-action show, which is produced by UFA Serial Drama, stars Luana Knöll, Dennis Oertel, Lisa Küppers, Lea Mirzanli and Moritz Bäckerling. The 31-episode sophomore season will premiere on Nick Deutschland (Germany) on September 23, and on Nickelodeon Österreich (Austria) and Schweiz (Switzerland) on September 25.

Nickelodeon is expanding Spotlight‘s digital presence for season two. A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series will be featured on the network’s Instagram, Musical.ly and Snapchat accounts. In addition, the show’s official vlog, It’s MoTV, will be extended to Nick’s official YouTube channel.

Spotlight is Nickelodeon Germany’s locally produced version of Nickelodeon Netherlands’ hit daily scripted series of the same name.
