Spotlight: Pink Parrot Media

The Pink Parrot Media highlight Snowsnaps is a spin-off series of the Racetime/Snowtime! brand, represented by PPM for international sales and including two CGI feature films sold worldwide.

Also in Pink Parrot’s catalog are a pair of 3D-animated feature films that are going into production in 2021—the Canadian-German co-production Butterfly Tale and Elli!, a co-production between Germany, Belgium and Canada. “We are also very excited to show our clients some new images before summer for those two titles,” said Marie-Claude Beauchamp, president of Pink Parrot Media. “They will both be followed in production by TV series spin-offs, an initiative developed by the producers.”

“The productions that we acquire have strong female leads and even disabled characters to address powerful international themes such as overcoming differences, diversity, inner strength and inclusion,” said Beauchamp. “We are looking to select productions that are not just aimed for entertaining, but also have the purpose to spark some emotions and stimulate exchanges between our audience.”

Beauchamp added, “We hope to confirm a few new acquisitions that will offer great stories and high-quality animation, with some surprises in the style and with unique storytelling.”
