Splash to Present Tooth Fairy Film & More in Cannes

LOS ANGELES: At this year’s MIPCOM, Splash Entertainment is slated to showcase the CGI-animated movie Meet Your Tooth Fairy, among other highlights.

Meet Your Tooth Fairy tells the story of Airlie, who travels to Real Fairyland, where she discovers she has magical powers and meets her very own tooth fairy. The 70-minute film, which wraps production this month, is meant for viewers between the ages of 5 and 12. It is based on the globally successful brand The Real Tooth Fairies.

Rachel Frankel, the VP of The Real Tooth Fairies, remarked: “The Tooth Fairy doesn’t just bring surprises for a lost tooth. She is an adored role model who inspires kids to believe in who they are and be heroes for kindness to change the world.”

“The Real Tooth Fairies are quickly becoming the next great kids’ brand and we look forward to introducing the new film to our clients,” stated Mevelyn Noriega, the president of distribution at Splash Entertainment. “Created with state-of-the-art animation, this new movie extends the real-life Tooth Fairy experience every family has to the screen and will be the must-see movie for generations of kids with a lost tooth.”

Another title on offer from Splash at MIPCOM is the Netflix original animated show Kulipari: An Army of Frogs, which follows a young frog who dreams of joining the Kulipari Army. “This original series, filled with many interesting characters, brings a new world to life while telling the classic story of good versus evil,” noted Noriega.

The company is also promoting three new Alpha and Omega films. “As family viewing becomes more and more relevant, these three new movies are perfect for families all over the world,” said Noriega.

She added: “Our mission continues to be the creation of great, innovative, multiplatform content with universal appeal.”
