Saskia’s Dansschool Pacts with ODMedia Group

The Dutch YouTube channel Saskia’s Dansschool has signed a deal with ODMedia Group that sees the company handle all aspects of management for the channel.

Expoza, ODMedia Group’s specialized YouTube division, will spearhead the effort. With more than 5.5 million subscribers and 1.4 billion views worldwide, the dance and fitness channel was started three years ago by professional dancer Saskia van Dijk, who was inspired to develop specific choreographies that children could imitate.

Today Saskia’s Dansschool is one of the largest dance fitness channels worldwide and continues to grow. The choreographies are being used by dance and fitness teachers around the world and children not only in the Benelux, but also in South America, the Middle East and Asia are dancing along with the videos.

In addition to developing expanding the YouTube channel, Saskia’s Dansschool aims to take the next step in digital distribution both locally and globally.

As ODMedia Group’s YouTube division, Expoza has been specializing in worldwide copyright, channel management and revenue generation strategies on YouTube for premium content creators and owners for more than eight years. They currently manage copyright and official channels for over 100 national and international movie distributors and have grown over 200 channels.

“We know Expoza can make that next step a reality. They not only have the expertise, but they also share our work ethic and drive to inspire, motivate, and entertain,” said van Dijk. “Now Saskia’s Dansschool’s message of togetherness, inspiration and being able to express yourself is going to reach even more people and I am very excited for that.”

Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia Group, added: “We represent the largest Benelux YouTube network featuring children’s content and are incredibly proud to welcome Saskia into our rapidly growing family. As specialists in launching, expanding and curating children’s channels, we are looking forward to further expanding her beautiful message and providing her with the right strategies for her big plans and digital distribution growth.”
