Disney+ has slated the streaming premiere of RoboGobo, currently airing on Disney Jr., for April 1.
The series is set on the futuristic utopia MetroPet Island, where five adopted pets are given super-powered Robo-Suits by kid inventor Dax. It features a recurring celebrity voice cast that includes Cynthia Erivo and Alan Cumming, among others.
The series regular cast includes NAACP Image Award winner Ja’Siah Young (Raising Dion), Brayden Morgan (Slumberkins), Azuri Hardy Jones (My Adventures with Superman), Gracen Newton (Disney Jr.’s Ariel), Leili Ahmadyar and Dee Bradley Baker (Phineas and Ferb).
Alongside Erivo and Cumming, the recurring cast includes Valerie Bertinelli, Ana Gasteyer, Susan Kelechi Watson, Dulé Hill, Taye Diggs, Alison Pill and John Michael Higgins.
RoboGobo was created by Chris Gilligan (T.O.T.S., Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends), who also serves as executive producer. It is produced by Brown Bag Films in association with Disney Jr.
