Q Pootle 5 Products to Launch in Europe & Beyond

COLOGNE: WDR mediagroup (WDRmg) has closed deals to bring a range of Q Pootle 5 merchandise to the international marketplace.

WDRmg holds commercial rights for the original kids’ format in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and has secured deals that will see NICI and Bullyland present Q Pootle 5 plush items, toy figures, cups and more at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg in February. Following the fair, the products will launch at retail across Europe and, in some cases, in Australia, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

NICI’s plush range comprises stuffed animals and pillows, as well as pencil cases, purses, lunch boxes, drinking bottles and cups. International test sales of these items are initially planned in Asia and Latin America. Bullyland created a range of toy figures and key chains, as well as gift and play sets, which will be available in Europe, Australia and Africa.

Q Pootle 5 is produced in the U.K. by Snapper Productions and is based on the best-selling books by children’s author and illustrator Nick Butterworth. The series has been sold into more than 70 countries worldwide.
