Panel on Cyber Group Studios’ 50/50 Heroes Set for TV Kids Festival

Cyber Group Studios’ Pierre Sissmann will be joined by France Télévisions’ Christine Reinaudo and character designer Yann de Preval to talk about the new property 50/50 Heroes as part of the TV Kids Festival.

Sissmann, the chairman and CEO of Cyber Group; Reinaudo, the head of hybrid programs and new formats in the youth department of France Télévisions; and de Preval, who did the character design for 50/50 Heroes, will talk about how the new property came about, its appeal for audiences and crafting the look of the show, among other topics before sharing a special look at 50/50 HeroesRegistration for this event is free. Taking place from February 2 to 5, 2021, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the importance of alliances in producing and distributing top-notch kids’ programming today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on World Screen’s brand-new, state-of-the-art events and festivals platform.

TV Kids previously announced a panel session on European animation with Xilam’s Marc du Pontavice, Superprod’s Clément Calvet and Dandelooo’s Emmanuèle Pétry-Sirvin; one dedicated to the evolution of the distribution business, featuring CAKE’s Ed Galton, eOne Family Brands’ Monica Candiani and 9 Story Media Group’s Alix Wiseman; a panel on kids’ co-productions, with Toon2Tango’s Ulli Stoef, Serious Lunch and Eye Present’s Genevieve Dexter, Boat Rocker Studios’ Jon Rutherford and Guru Studio’s Frank Falcone; and a session on acquisition strategies will include Cartoon Network’s Adina Pitt, M6’s Maud Branly, Kidoodle.TV’s Brenda Bisner and Hopster’s Ellen Solberg.

Also on the TV Kids Festival roster are actor and author Tony Hale, who will be joined by DreamWorks Animation’s Teri Weiss to discuss Archibald’s Next Big Thing; Jonathan M. Shiff, creator of H20: Just Add Water, Mako Mermaids and The Bureau of Magical Things; Dan Povenmire, whose credits include Phineas and Ferb; Traci Paige Johnson and Angela Santomero, the co-creators of the hit series Blue’s Clues and Blue’s Clues & You!; Eric Ellenbogen, the CEO and vice chair of WildBrain; Claude Schmit, the CEO of Super RTL; and Sebastian Debertin, the head of fiction, acquisitions and co-productions at KiKA.
