NEW YORK: Nickelodeon has placed renewals for three of its hit animated preschool programs, including Blaze and the Monster Machines, totaling more than 65 episodes.

Blaze and the Monster Machines, about a monster truck and his 8-year-old driver, has been picked up for a 20-episode fourth season. The channel also ordered a 26-episode fourth season of PAW Patrol and a 20-episode third season of Shimmer and Shine. The former centers on a pack of heroic pups, while the latter follows twin genies-in-training.

With its biggest preschool content pipeline ever, Nickelodeon has more than ten preschool shows in production and six new series premiering through 2018. The network currently owns three of the top five preschool programs on television, led by Blaze and the Monster Machines at number one.
